2) The applicant has not had a fire safety inspection from the local government agency (or self-inspection if local government agency does not offer fire safety inspections) 3)b)i) There was a cardboard box stored right next to the furnace. Combustible materials must not be within 3 feet of a furnace or heating device. 3)b)ii) The furnace and the water heater are in the pathway to the back emergency exit and cannot be blocked off to prevent child access. 3)g)i) There is no smoke detector in the living room play area where children will nap. 3)i) The fire extinguisher was a 1A 10BC. It is required to be a minimum of 2A 10 BC. 3)ii) The fire extinguisher was not mounted as required. 3)iii) The fire extinguisher was in a closet and there was no sign on the closet indicating the location of the extinguisher.
